International Marimba Festiva Congress and Competition 2024 – 2025 – Online / Live Competition

Competition for young marimba soloists up to the age of 28
Video Rounds starting on 15th November 2024
Live competition / Final rounds – 23rd – 25th April 2025 at Music House
Thomann, Treppendorf / Bamberg – Germany
Congress and Festival – 26th – 27th April 2025 at Concert Hall Bamberg.
Prizes of a total value of up to 14.000 €

1. The competition is addressed to young marimba soloists and is divided into five
age groups up to the age of 28 years.
2. The Marimba Festiva Competition is a hybrid competition, in which video rounds
and a live competition in Bamberg / Germany are included.
3. There are separate registration fees for pre-selection round, online competition
and live competition.
4. There is a discount for members of Marimba Festiva Association – Preliminary Round Free
5. Marimba pieces with audio accompaniment can only be performed during the live competition.
