WE ARE BACK! – Once again we are very happy to organise Marimba SUMMER SEMINAR!
Join us for an unforgettable musical experience nestled in the stunning coastal town of Tribunj, Croatia! From August 1st to August 9th, immerse yourself in the world of marimba at our exclusive seminar led by renowned marimba artists, Filip Merčep and Conrado Moya.

What to expect:
• One-on-one Music Lessons: Dive deep into the art of the marimba with full one-on-one lessons tailored to your skill level.
• Chamber music: Collaborate with fellow musicians in chamber music lessons, improving ensemble skills, musical interpretation and communication.
• Improvisation lessons: Group lessons in which you will learn to listen, react and improvise on marimba and vibraphone. The skill of improvisation is key to releasing stage fright and connecting with the music.
• Sufficient free time: Enjoy the relaxed moments of exploring Tribunj and the Mediterranean sun and beautiful beaches.
• Concerts and street performances: In addition to the final concert, in the middle of the seminar we will also organise a street concert on the Tribunj peninsula, where we will show residents and tourists why marimba is such a fun instrument!
Highlighted at the seminar:
The professors of the seminar will hold master lectures on important topics related to the percussion career:
1. “How I practiced composition…” – a lecture on how to practice certain compositions and an insight into the seminar professors ideas and approach to music.
2. “The power of warm-up and routine”
3. “Percussion as a professional career!” – a lecture designed in the form of Q&A (questions and answers) in which the presenters will answer the participants’ questions.
• Participants will also give short lectures on topics related to practicing and playing.
Who can participate:
• Marimba enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced players.
• Whether you are a solo performer, chamber musician or simply passionate about the marimba, this seminar offers something for everyone.
Active participant: 400 euros / 320 Members of Marimba Festiva – Passive participant: 200 euros / 180 Members of Marimba Festiva
