Liebe Teilnehmer und Besucher des Marimba Festiva Congress and Wettbewerbs in Bamberg 2018
Das war eine Ehre für mich Euch alle in Bamberg begrüßen zu dürfen. Eure Mitwirkung war in vielerlei Hinsicht einmalig und wegweisend. Am Anfang möchte ich das enorm hohe Niveau anerkennen, was nicht selten zu sehr schwierigen Situationen bei Bewertung der Leistung geführt hat. Sehr reife Interpretationen, technische Leichtigkeit und emotional geladene Auftritte, das sind nur manche Merkmale der erbrachten Leistung. Schade, dass wir nicht alle von Euch mit einem Preis ehren konnten.
Bewundernswert war ebenso die phantastische Stimmung, die alle Teilnehmer thematisch und menschlich vereint hat. Ich bin sicher, dass die Bekanntschaften, die in Bamberg geschlossen worden sind, kreativ eure Zukunft gestalten werden.
Schließlich möchte ich mich im Namen des Vereins für das von Euch geäußerte Vertrauen bedanken. Unser idealistisch geprägtes Engagement hat durch Euch eine neue Ebene erreicht, wodurch wir uns noch mehr vereint für die Popularität der Marimba einsetzen werden.
Besonderen Dank möchte ich den Juroren und Kongressgästen aussprechen, die als Botschafter unterschiedlichen Spielkulturen künstlerisch zur Bereicherung der Veranstaltung beigetragen haben.

Dear participants and visitors of the Marimba Festiva Congress and Competition in Bamberg 2018
It was an honor to welcome every one of you in Bamberg. In many aspects your collaboration was unique and it showed the way forward to the organization. First of all, I want to appreciate the enormously high artistic level which made the judgement often very difficult. Very solid interpretations, technical finesses, emotional performances… these are just some characteristics of your achievements. What a shame we couldn’t honor everybody with a prize.
Worthy of admiration was also the fantastic atmosphere that united every single participant on a thematic and human level. I’m certain, that the connections which were made in Bamberg will frame your future in a creative way.
At last I want to say thank you in the name of the organization for the trust you showed us. Our idealistic-oriented engagement has reached a new level because of you. Therefore, we will put in even more effort for the popularity of the marimba.
In particular, I want to thank the judges and the congress guests, who contributed as ambassadors in an artistic way to the event.
