Repertoire

Age Group IA

Repertoire of the 1st Round (video recording):
At least two stylistically different works. Duration of the recording: 5-8 minutes. You are allowed to repeat piece(s) you played for the preliminary round. All pieces must be recorded uncut – Recorded without breaks, like a one track.

Repertoire of the 2nd Round (Final Round) during the Live Competition in Bamberg:
At least two stylistically different works. Duration of the performance: 6-10 minutes. You are allowed to repeat pieces from the preliminary or 1st round.

Age Group IB

Repertoire of the 1st Round (Video recording):
At least two stylistically different works. Duration of the recording: 6-10 minutes. You are allowed to repeat the pieces you played for the preliminary round. All pieces must be recorded uncut – Recorded without breaks, like a one track.

Repertoire of the 2nd Round (Final Round) during the Live Competition in Bamberg:
At least two stylistically different works. Duration of the performance: 8-12 Minutes. You are allowed to repeat pieces from the preliminary or 1st round.

Repertoire of the 1st Round (Video recording):
At least two stylistically different works. Duration of the recording: 8-12 minutes. You are allowed to repeat pieces you played for the preliminary round. All pieces must be recorded uncut – Recorded without breaks, like a one track.

Repertoire of the 2nd Round (Video recording): At least three stylistically different works. Duration of the recording: 10-14 minutes. You are allowed to repeat piece(s) you played for the preliminary or 1st round. All pieces must be recorded uncut – Recorded without breaks, like a one track.

Repertoire of the 3rd Round (Final Round) during the Live Competition in Bamberg:
At least two stylistically different works. Duration of the performance: 12–16 minutes. You are allowed to repeat pieces from the preliminary, 1st or 2nd round.

Possible participation on the Prize for best interpretation of work by Keiko Abe or Gordon Stout or Bayerischer Rundfunk Prize. To participate, select pieces from the list and add them to the live – competition repertoire

Repertoire of the 1st Round (Video recording):
At least two stylistically different works. Duration of the recording: 10-14 minutes. You are allowed to repeat pieces you played for the preliminary round. The pieces must be recorded uncut.

Repertoire of the 2nd Round (Video recording): At least three stylistically different
works. Duration of the recording: 12-16 minutes. You are allowed to repeat the pieces you played for the preliminary or 1st round. All pieces must be recorded uncut – Recorded without breaks, like a one track.

Repertoire of the 3rd Round (Final Round) during the Live Competition in Bamberg:
At least three stylistically different works including one movement from Partitas or Sonatas for solo violin by J. S. Bach and obligatory piece. Duration of the performance: 15-18 minutes. You are allowed to repeat pieces from the preliminary, 1st or 2nd round.

Possible participation on the Prize for best interpretation of work by Keiko Abe or Gordon Stout or Bayerischer Rundfunk Prize. To participate, select pieces from the list and add them to the live – competition repertoire

Age Group IV

Repertoire of the 1st Round (Video recording):
At least two stylistically different works. Duration of the recording: 12-16 minutes.
You are allowed to repeat pieces you played for the preliminary round. All pieces must be recorded uncut – Recorded without breaks, like a one track.

Repertoire of the 2nd Round (Video recording): At least three stylistically different works. Duration of the recording: 14-18 minutes. You are allowed to repeat pieces you played for the preliminary or 1st round. The pieces must be recorded uncut – Recorded without breaks, like a one track.

Repertoire of the 3rd Round (Semi – Final Round) during the Live Competition in Bamberg:
At least three stylistically different works including one obligatory piece. Duration of the performance: 15-20 minutes. You are allowed to repeat pieces from the preliminary, 1st or 2nd round.

Repertoire of the 4th Round (Final Round) during the Live Competition in Bamberg:
At least three stylistically different works include one solo piece from the repertoire list. Duration of the performance: 18-22 minutes. You are NOT allowed to repeat pieces from the Semi – Final Round.
